Mahoning County judge’s son to appear for detention hearing

Dellick is accused of probation violations

John Dellick, arrested for probation violation after a gun was found in a hotel room he was staying in.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WYTV) – The son of Mahoning County’s Juvenile Court judge will be in court Wednesday for a detention hearing.

Federal prosecutors will be trying to convince a judge that John Dellick needs to remain locked up until his trial next month.

Monday, Dellick was indicted last week for having a gun with him at a Boardman hotel in January, even though he had just been convicted on assault charges. Since that conviction, Dellick has been convicted of violating his probation on two different occasions but each time has been allowed to remain on probation.
