CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Steel Valley Cluster Dog Show is back for another year at the Canfield Fairgrounds over the weekend.
Over 2,000 purebred dogs will compete for top honors in the four-day contest that is certified by the American Kennel Club.
Thursday afternoon, several dogs took turns launching themselves into the water for the fan favorite dock diving event.
The show, which has been around for more than 70 years, draws dog owners and enthusiasts from around the country and all over the world.
Organizers say the show’s widespread popularity benefits the Valley.
“It’s not just a dog show. We have so many things going on, we have so many things to offer that I think everyone always has a good time here,” said.
The Steel Valley Cluster Dog Show wraps up on Sunday.
