YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Youngstown native and Cardinal Mooney graduate Ishmaa’ily Kitchen has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is competing for a spot on their roster in training camp this summer.

Kitchen began his NFL career in Baltimore, signing with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent back in 2012. He was released at the end of training camp and claimed off waivers by Cleveland.

He then played with the Browns for three years, recording 78 tackles between 2012 and 2015. Kitchen also played two games for the Patriots in 2015 before getting released.

The Cardinal Mooney grad was an All-State performer for the Cardinals in high school, helping lead them to two state championships in 2004 and 2006.
