SHARON, Pa. (WYTV) – Police charged a man in relation to a homicide in Sharon over the weekend.

Calvin Norris, 27, is charged with criminal homicide and attempted criminal homicide. Police say Norris is a suspect in the shooting that killed Percy Godfrey and injured Kimberly Odem on Sunday.

Norris had been at St. Elizabeth’s in Youngstown for several days. Security at the hospital contacted Sharon Police Department, saying they thought he was their suspect.

Norris is still in the hospital under 24-hour guard by Sharon Police and Pennsylvania State Police.

He will appear in court within the next few days as a fugitive from justice to determine if he should be extradited back to Mercer County.

Police say Norris has a criminal history in Ohio and the Mahoning Valley as well.
