NEWTON FALLS, Ohio (WYTV) – A Newton Falls man has been indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury on charges related to the discovery of chemicals used to make methamphetamine at an apartment complex.

Mark Cowger, 37, is charged with illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and aggravated possession of drugs — all felony charges.

He was arrested last week after police said items used to make the drug were found at the Newton Village Apartments. Trumbull County Hazmat was called in to remove hazardous materials from the building and prevent chemical exposure due to rain.
