Air carrier discontinues flights between Youngstown, Chicago

VIENNA, Ohio (WYTV) – Aerodynamics, Inc. (ADI) announced Wednesday that it will discontinue flights between Youngstown and Chicago effective immediately.

The Western Reserve Port Authority decided to stop funding the flights last week, citing issues with connecting flights that were causing inconveniences for customers.

ADI said it was unable to come to an agreement with the port authority, and is forced to cease service after the last flight on Wednesday.

The Youngstown Warren Regional Airport was notified Wednesday evening that ADI was taking the planes back to Georgia.

The Western Reserve Port Authority had been in talks with ADI before news about the discontinued flights came out, and knew it was coming. The port authority will be meeting on Friday to discuss future plans.

The company will be refunding ticket holders. Customers should call 1-800-554-5111 or email
