Man pleads guilty to Girard pizza shop crash

Keith Adams was arrested after crashing into a Girard business.

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – A man who crashed through a Girard pizza shop pleaded guilty to two charges.

Keith Lamont Adams, Jr. was arrested in December after a police chase that ended in Adams crashing a car through Melfi and Santangelo’s Pizza Parlor in Girard. Police said the chase reached speeds of 75 miles per hour after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers tried pulling over Adams, who had a warrant.

Adams was facing a number of charges, but he pleaded guilty to failure to comply with the order of a police officer and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered before Adams is sentenced.
