Suspect facing attempted murder, felonious assault charges

Johnson is accused of trying to hurt one woman with a knife and trying to kill another

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A suspect is facing additional charges after he was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury.

Michael Johnson, 38, is charged with three counts of felonious assault and one count of attempted murder.

He is accused of trying to harm a woman with a knife, according to the indictment. The alleged crime occurred on March 30.

He is also accused of attempting to kill another woman.

Johnson is being held in Mahoning County Jail, where he is waiting for a hearing.
