Adu-Poku a touchdown machine in Boardman victory

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WYTV) – Boardman running back Koby Adu-Poku started off 2016 with a bang, scoring four consecutive touchdowns in a 41-0 Boardman win over Youngstown East Friday night.

The Spartans struck first with Mike O’Horo connecting with Gavin Strines from 15 yards out to take the early, 7-0 lead.

The Spartans opened up the second quarter with another TD, this time with Adu-Poku scoring from 3 yards out to extend the lead to 14-0.

It then quickly became the Adu-Poku show with the Spartan back scoring his 2nd, 3rd and 4th touchdowns to give Boardman a 34-0 lead going into halftime.

Kelley Williams scored from 6 yards out in the fourth quarter to extend the Boardman lead to 41-0.
