LOWELLVILLE, Ohio (WYTV) – Lowellville City Hall officials gathered Saturday to discuss key issues facing the village.
The special meeting took place around 10:30 a.m. and members discussed 16 different topics, all of which had to be addressed during the meeting.
Everything from past finance practices and future projects to grants to funding shortages from the major flooding back in April of last year were on the agenda.
However, one key issue won’t be resolved just yet.
“We are going into an executive session to talk about the police chief’s position and some other personnel issues, but there will be no action on the police chief at this time,” said Lowellville Mayor James Iudiciani Sr.
Mayor Iudiciani said the police chief decision is an important one, and the final decision could come as early as next month.
