Teenager charged with Niles merchandise stand fire

The other three juveniles are expected to be charged on Monday in connection with the fire

NILES, Ohio (WYTV) – A teenager accused of breaking into the Niles football stadium and burning down a merchandise stand is now facing charges.

Police said Ricky Mohn, 19, from Warren, and three other juveniles broke into Bo Rein Stadium early Friday morning on August 19. There, police said they burned down a Red Dragon merchandise stand, run by parents of Niles students.

Mohn has been in the Trumbull County Jail since Friday afternoon. He is charged with arson, two counts of breaking and entering and three counts of contributing to unruliness or delinquency.

He is being held on a $25,000 bond. His court date at the Niles Municipal Court has not yet been set.

According to our print partners at the Tribune Chronicle, who spoke with acting police chief Captain Jay Holland, the other three juveniles are expected to be charged on Monday in connection with the fire.
