Toys for Youngstown Kids held a Kids Funfest Sunday at American Legion Post 472.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Toys for Youngstown Kids held a Kids Funfest Sunday at American Legion Post 472.

Kids were invited from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to enjoy music played by a DJ, games, a bounce house, face painting and more. Fire trucks were even brought in for kids to see and touch the truck up close.

Also part of Sunday’s event was a motorcycle run and a concert for the riders later in the evening.

Toys for Youngstown Kids President Ashley Lisk said she had a little help setting up for the event.

“Well, if you ask my 5-year-old Cory, she planned all of this, so that’s what we’re sticking with. So, Cory got everybody together and not only decided we were going to do a poker run during the day but also have something for the kids in the afternoon,” Lisk said.

Toys for Youngstown Kids will use funds from the motorcycle run to assist kids in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties during emergency events, holidays and to send them back to school.
