WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Hillary Clinton supporters were inside the UAW 1714 union hall to hear Vice President Joe Biden speak but outside, protesters were making their voices heard.
A number of Trump supporters greeted drivers along Salt Springs Road Thursday.
“This Valley is not going to support Hillary Clinton in the fall. Number two, we need to get out and do whatever to get Donald Trump elected president and number three, we want to make America great again and Donald Trump is the guy that can do that,” said Mahoning County Republican Party Chairman Mark Munroe.
The group held signs and cheered to show their support for the GOP candidate.
“The United States citizens need some answers, truthful answers from the Democratic Party, as well as Hillary Clinton,” Sueann Taylor said.
Taylor is retired and says she’s worried about her future with the way things are in Washington, mentioning her decreasing Social Security.
“Where am I supposed to get a job now, at my age?”
She thinks Clinton’s plan will not make her situation any better.
“The economy needs a lot more than the government giving out money, and that money comes from people like me,” Taylor said.
Their overall message is to encourage people to vote for Trump instead of Clinton this November.
