Police say two males stole cigars, damaged gaming machine at Warren gas station

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Officers were called to a BP gas station on E. Market Street in Warren to investigate a possible breaking and entering on Wednesday around 3:20 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers determined someone did make entry into the business by removing plywood that was covering a previous break in.

Upon reviewing the surveillance video, officers further determined that two male subjects entered the building. According to the police report, it appeared that one of the males, who was not wearing gloves, was white, and the other male’s race, who wore gloves, could not be determined.

The police report states that the suspects attempted to break into a gaming machine before the store’s alarm went off. The damages to the machine were estimated to cost around $500.

One suspect grabbed a small amount of cigars before fleeing.

The store’s owner said she will conduct an inventory to determine what else was stolen.
