Latronica enters Springfield soccer record book

NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Cierra Latronica is now in the Springfield Local record books in girls soccer.

She scored a school-record eight goals in Wednesday night’s 12-1 win over Columbiana.  The previous record was held by Allyson Berry who tallied seven goals in a game back in 2008.

Latronica’s record-breaking night comes just a day after she racked up five five goals in yesterday’s victory over Girard.

To date, Latronica has notched a total of 16 goals with 5 assists.

With the win, the Tigers improve to 4-2 overall on the season.
