Liberty’s Dra Rushton opened the scoring with his 62-yard punt return to paydirt to give the Leopards a 7-0 lead.

However, the Panthers fought back to score 16 of the games’ final 22 points to bring home coach Jerron Jenkins’ first win in his new position.

Since allowing 81 points to be scored in their first two contests, East held the Leopards to only 13. Looking at East’s schedule, as of today, there are only two teams who have a losing mark (Liberty and Howland). The other eight have combined for a 18-6 record.

East will face their former coach Brian Shaner and the Niles Red Dragons next week. Liberty will play host to Brookfield.
