SHENANGO TWP. Pa. (WYTV) – Crews were back at a Shenango Township home for another fire Friday where three brothers were found dead Thursday.
The fire at the house on Circle Drive started about 6 a.m. Friday morning and was fully engulfed when crews arrived.
After investigation, Deputy Fire Marshal Trooper Luke Nelson said the fire appears to be a rekindle of Thursday’s fire. He said there were a lot of combustible materials in the attic and an ember started another fire.
Thursday’s fire is still under investigation as an arson.
On Thursday, three men were found dead in the basement of the house after crews were called there for another fire. Sate police believe the fire started about 5 a.m. when some neighbors smelled smoke, but it wasn’t reported until someone saw flames glowing in the basement about 7:30 a.m.
Pennsylvania State Police has identified the men as 50-year-old Daniel Fombelle, 56-year-old Robert Fombelle and 57-year-old Richard Fombelle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The brothers weren’t burned and were found in a remote part of the basement.
The Fire Marshal ruled the fire an arson later Thursday evening and police are investigating it as a triple homicide.
