AUSTINTOWN, OH (WYTV)-Amateur boxing is returning to the Valley in a few weeks as a 12-bout card will be held at the California Palms Hotel in Austintown on October 1st.
The event will help raise money for the area’s Agency on Aging, and will also honor former state senator Harry Meshel.
The night will also bring several local champions back to the area. Former World Champions Kelly Pavlik and Harry Arroyo along with former IBC Champions Craig Kikta and Ken Sigurani were on hand Monday to help promote the event. Those four and other champions including Ray Mancini are expected to be at the event.
The card is scheduled to begin at 7 o’clock on the patio at the California Palms.
