CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – Customers at one local Dunkin’ Donuts were in the giving mood on Thursday.

They paid for the car behind them 28 times in a row.

It happened Thursday morning at the Dunkin’ Donuts near U.S. 224 and State Route 11.

After the first 28, another 13 cars paid it forward.

One employee said she has been there three years and has never seen a chain go that long.

“It was awesome. The customers loved it,” said Manager Jenny Sontag. “I had one lady, she was like, ‘I’ve seen this on TV, but I’ve never had it happen to me.’ And she was older.”

A person even came inside the store and gave $25 to keep the chain going forward as long as possible.
