Pink Ribbon walk one of many events at Warren Homecoming

Also taking place on Saturday: a parade, trolley tours, a classic car show and an autograph session with NFL legends

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – The four-day homecoming party in Warren continued Saturday with events from morning through the night.

Hundreds of people attended the 11th annual Pink Ribbon Run and Walk at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, as it raised money for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Project and offered free mammograms to women without insurance.

Also taking place on Saturday: a parade, trolley tours, a classic car show and an autograph session with NFL legends from Trumbull County.

“We’re also having a bras on the bridge contest,” said Darla Habosky, race organizer.  “Community members have decorated bras that we’re voting on and we’re going to have those hanging on the bridge that goes across East Market Street [during] the month of October for breast cancer awareness.”

The Warren Homecoming – which began Friday and runs through Monday – is organized by the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County. The goal is to showcase the city and how far it has come over the years.
