Sharpsville tops rival

SHARPSVILLE, Pennsylvania (WYTV) – With identical 3 win and 1 loss records, rivals Reynolds and Sharpsville met on Friday night with the Blue Devils coming out on top 32-29.

With a slim 12-7 lead in the second quarter, the Blue Devils gave themselves a little breathing room with a big play on offense. Looking to open things up senior quarterback Luke Henwood connected with junior running back Robert Besser on a 69 yard touchdown pass, pushing the Sharpsville lead to 18-7.

Sharpsville picked up their fourth win on the 2016 season while handing the Raiders only their second loss.

Reynolds (3-1) will host Wilmington in week six. Sharpsville (3-1) will visit Greenville.
