NILES, Ohio (WYTV) – Sam Accordino completed a Canfield comeback by nailing a game-winning 25-yard field goal for a 23-21 Cardinals win. The kick split the uprights with just 18 seconds remaining.

Two big offensive plays from the Niles offense sparked the Red Dragons to a 21-7 lead in the third quarter.

On the first play of the game, Niles’ Robbie Savin took a hand-off 55 yards to the end zone. Tyler Srbinovich then connected with Tre Martin for an 81-yard TD pass after Canfield tied the game at 7.
