CAMPBELL, Ohio (WYTV) – Latino unity and pride.

That was the message of the very first Latino Parade in Campbell on Saturday.

It started at Roosevelt Park with a parade of cars and trucks wearing the Puerto Rican Flag.

That led to the new Papa’s Puerto Rican restaurant location on 12th Avenue where they celebrated the opening of the new location with vendors, a bouncy house, and lots of Papa’s food.

“A lot of people don’t know our background and stuff like that,” said Victoria De Jesus, event organizer. “So we want to share with everybody — share the food, crafts, anything you know that we are able to do,”

Campbell’s mayor said he is excited to have Papa’s in the city.
