Fake bomb threat sends Ursuline students home

University and Youngstown police checked the building and determined it was safe

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A fake bomb threat canceled classes at Ursuline High School in Youngstown on Friday.

The threat was called in early in the morning, and the administration enacted the school’s emergency operations plan.

Students were evacuated to the WATTS center on Youngstown State’s campus.

University and Youngstown police checked the building and determined it was safe, but students were sent home for the day.
