BOARDMAN, Ohio (WYTV) – One local teen is working towards a title that not many achieve.

Devin Patton is now only one project away from becoming an Eagle Scout. And for his project, Patton chose to do something that benefits Mahoning Valley locals — but the furry, four-legged kind.

“I want to get is 3,000 lbs of dog food,” Patton said. “I swear I won’t eat it myself.”

If you’re interested in donating dog food for Patton’s cause, he has set up donation points at the Animal Charity Humane Society in Boardman, as well as several local churches.
