Mahoning Co. judge’s son pleads guilty to parole violation

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The son of Mahoning County Juvenile Court Judge Theresa Dellick admitted Monday that he did break the law when he had a loaded gun with him earlier this year.

John Dellick, 22, pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He admitted to taking a handgun with him to a Boardman motel last January while he was on parole from an earlier assault conviction.

Dellick has been undergoing mental health and drug counseling.

He will now be sentenced in February.
