LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Students at Lordstown High School have a new addition to their spirit locker.

Thanks to LaFarge, a large rock was delivered to the school Tuesday for students to paint.

The rock, like the one at Youngstown State University, will be used by school groups on a rotating basis to paint with their messages. It is placed at the entrance to the school for everyone to see.

“We got a lot of great things going on academically here at Lordstown. We like to celebrate it. This is an opportunity for the students to carry over and celebrate a little more,” said Superintendent Terry Armstrong.
