YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Local vendors got together in Youngstown on Wednesday to promote health and wellness.
A Health Fair was held at the Central YMCA of Youngstown from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
It featured over 70 vendors, ranging from specialists in skin care to breast cancer treatments. There were also vendors giving flu shots, health screenings and even blood work.
“It really allows everyone the opportunity to essentially know their numbers and know where they stand, health-wise, and possibly catch any form of issues,” said Central YMCA Director of Health and Wellness Meri Fetkovich.
There were also chair massages, hearing testing and blood pressure testing at the health fair.
