Sherry leads Bulldogs past United in wild shootout

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WYTV) – East Palestine has won four of their last five after tonight’s 55-31 win over United. Parker Sherry scored a total of 5 touchdowns as the Bulldogs accumulated 439 yards of total offense.

Sherry completed 7 of 14 for 136 and 3 scores while rushing for 165 stripes (TD) on 18 carries. Dominic Posey scored a total of four touchdowns (2 rushing, 2 receiving) and gained 242 yards from scrimmage (125 rushing, 117 receiving). The Bulldogs compiled 303 yards rushing.

United has lost five consecutive games after tonight’s result. However, the Golden Eagles (2-7) gained the most total yards in a single game this season (419). Their offensive attack was led by Nathan Mikell, who picked up 206 rushing yards on 24 totes (TD). Mikell also threw for 98 yards on 12 completions. Parker Hydrick was his favorite target as he caught 8 balls for 43 yards.
