Warren man who crashed into Girard pizza shop arrested again

Police discovered that the car Keith Lamont Adams, Jr. was driving Tuesday had been stolen out of Liberty Township

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Warren man is facing a drug charge after police said they caught him in a stolen car and found a pill in his wallet.

Officers pulled over 20-year-old Keith Lamont Adams, Jr. at Beal Street and Montgomery Avenue around 11 a.m. Tuesday. They said he was weaving in and out of his lane.

Police discovered that the car he was driving had been stolen out of Liberty Township. They also learned that Adams had an arrest warrant out of Girard and his license was suspended.

In December, Adams crashed a car through Melfi and Santangelo’s Pizza Parlor in Girard during a police chase.

The purple pill they found in his wallet tested positive for ecstasy, according to a police report.

Adams was arrested and taken to Trumbull County Jail.

He is charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drugs and fugitive from justice, in addition to being issued traffic citations.
