NEW CASTLE, Pa (WYTV) – With two and a half weeks left until election day, the Lawrence County GOP met for their annual fall dinner on Saturday to discuss final plans.
Pennsylvania US Congressman Mike Kelly and Alabama US Senator Jefferson Sessions were the main speakers of the night.
Sessions was the first senator to endorse Trump and has been campaigning with him.
Kelly is currently running for Congress again, but is unopposed which he says was nice this year to focus on other elections.
“We want to make sure that we sweep it all,” Congressman Mike Kelly said. “We want Pat Toomey to go back to the Senate and we want all the reps that I work with everyday to go back to the House and then our down ticket as far as the state legislature is concerned.”
Congressman Kelly said when re-elected he wants to work on the local economy to make it easier for people to start and grow their businesses.
