Game Notes: Since dropping their home opener to Green (37-20) on the second day of September, the Tigers have posted seven straight victories which has included four shutouts.

Last week, the defense pitched a shutout of Canfield, 21-0, as they held the Cardinals to 191 yards. Tyriq Wllis gained 134 yards on 30 carries (2 TDs) in the Tiger win.

Ellis, a senior, has rushed for over 100-yards in four of his last five games. He’s scored 8 rushing touchdowns over the course of the last three weeks. Quarterback Samari Dean has completed 24 of 32 passes (75.0%) within the last four weeks. Eighteen of those 24 completions were made to Stephen Baugh and Victor Williams.

Last year, Lynn Bowden gained over 100-yards in 9 of 12 games. This year, he’s already topped the 100-yard mark in 7 times. Desmon Douglas has averaged just 6 carries over the last five weeks but has gained 243 yards (49 yards per game) in that time span and scored 1 touchdown in each of last four contests.
