CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – The Mahoning County OVI Task Force is planning a checkpoint for Halloween weekend, October 28-30.
In addition to the OVI checkpoint, there will be saturation patrols throughout this week and weekend.
The checkpoint’s exact location and time will be announced later in the week.
The Task Force says checkpoints are a tool to discourage and prevent impaired driving. They want to remind those who will be consuming alcohol not to drive and to find a safe way home.
