Head-on crash with Austintown Bounce truck closes Goshen Twp. road

GOSHEN TWP., Ohio (WYTV) – The intersection of Routes 14 and 165 in Goshen Townsip is closed to traffic Wednesday night due to a head-on crash.

A semi and an Austintown Bounce box truck collided on Route 14 just before 8:30 p.m., making a mess on the road.

Ohio State Highway Patrol said that 18-year-old Anthony Beshara, of Canfield, was driving the box truck and went through a stop sign.

Then the semi, driven by 31-year-old Kevin Hosea, of Wheaton, Illinois, hit the box truck.

Both vehicles went off the road and hit a guardrail.

Beshara and Hosea were taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown with non-life threatening injuries.

A juvenile passenger in the Austintown Bounce truck was flown to UPMC in Pittsburgh with injuries.

As of around 10 p.m., crews were busy removing the trucks and cleaning up the scene.

The road will likely remain closed throughout the night.

Goshen Police Department, Damascus Fire Department, the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted Highway Patrol.

The crash is still under investigation.
