WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Lynn Bowden’s six TDs guided Warren Harding past rival Howland, 40-20, on Friday. The Raiders finished the regular season 9-1, while Howland went 7-3.

Bowden wasted no time getting things going early, breaking off a 51-yard TD run to give Harding a 7-0 lead. His third rushing TD of the day — an 18-yarder — came midway through the third quarter and broke a 14-all tie.

His fourth came a few minutes later, this time a 13-yard TD run. Bowden’s fifth TD was a 14-yard run early in the fourth quarter, while his sixth was a 10-yarder late in the fourth. He finished with 253 total rushing yards on 22 carries.

Dean scored on a 17-yard TD run for the Tigers midway through the third to tie the contest, while he notched a fourth-quarter touchdown pass as well. He led Howland with 64 rush yards.
