Game Notes:
The G-Men are making their first playoff appearance since 2010. Garfield is seeking their first post-season victory in school history.

Garfield began the season with a 6-0 mark – knocking off 6 teams who were unable to finish with a winning record. Over their final four contests of the regular season, the G-Men faced four teams who closed out the season with a winning record and were only able to go 1-3.

The G-Men averaged 360.7 yards per game. Their 6’4 senior quarterback Dalton Fall has thrown for 2007 yards and 28 touchdowns compared to just 6 interceptions in 227 passing attempts. Tommy Bissler (616 yards, 6 TDs) and Seth Morgan (648 yards, 7 TDs) have caught 40 and 39 passes respectively.

On defense, Ryan Brown has picked off 5 errant tosses while Zayne Veon and Christopher Blewitt each have 4 quarterback sacks.

South Range achieved the #1 seed overall in Region 17 for the first time since 2007.

On Friday, the Raiders rolled up 48 unanswered points to hand East Palestine a 55-14 setback as coach Yeagley’s team improved to 9-1. South Range accumulated 263 yards of total offense led by the running of Nathan Daniszewski (77) and Aniello Buzzacco (55).

Since dropping an overtime matchup in week 6 to Springfield (34-27), the Raiders won their last four contests of the regular season by a combined total of 187-29.
