WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Warren man is facing drug trafficking and weapons charges after a traffic stop on Carolina Avenue on Friday.

Shaquille Chatmon, 22, was stopped for not having a front license plate, according to a police report. Police said a loaded gun was found in the car, as well as marijuana, an unidentified pill, heroin and crack cocaine, a digital scale and $96.

The items were confiscated, and Chatmon was arrested and charged with trafficking in heroin and cocaine, carrying a concealed weapon, driving under suspension and unlawful plates.

Chatmon appeared in Warren Municipal Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is set to appear in court again on November 3.
