Kenwood Drive, Warren house fire

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Two families are homeless after a fire Thursday afternoon in Warren.

Larry Bishop was working on his boat in the 2400 block of Kenwood Drive. He tried to start it up and it exploded, catching the boat and his car port on fire. The fire then spread to a neighbor’s house, where there were several kids inside.

The fire chief said everyone got out safely, but Bishop, who was found in the middle of the yard, had extensive burns on both of his arms. He was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital and will be transferred to a burn unit.
