Prebble, Besser lead Sharpsville to District Final

MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania (WYTV) – Sharpsville advances to their sixth straight District Championship game following their win over Iroquois, 41-14. Bobby Besser and Cameron Prebble each scored three touchdowns for the Blue Devils. Besser finished with over 200-yards on the ground.

Up by just seven late in the third quarter, Luke Henwood found Prebble on a 51-yard strike to end the frame and give the Blue Devils a two-touchdown lead. From that point on, Sharpsville outside the Braves 20-0 over the final 13 minutes of play.

The Braves fell for the first time this season as they concluded a magical run which ended at 10-1.

The Blue Devils defeated Iroquois in the opening round of the 2014 District 10 Class A playoffs (62-35).
