YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A man suspected of multiple burglaries in the Poland area has been indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury.

Michael Cornwell, 24, is charged with six counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, one count of breaking and entering, 10 counts of receiving stolen property and one count of illegal processing of drug documents.

Cornwell is accused of being behind dozens of theft cases in a half dozen neighborhoods in the township over the last month. He, along with 18-year-old Brandon Stevens, was arrested earlier this month.

Stevens was a juvenile at the time of the burglaries and is facing charges in juvenile court.

The suspects broke into cars and used garage door openers to gain access to the houses, police said.
