YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The circus is in town, and they’re making a few stops before the big show on Friday night.

Cast members from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus Co. held a food drive outside the Covelli Centre.

Friday morning, they brought all that food to the Second Harvest Food Bank. They entertained the volunteers and then helped pack up the food for hungry families.

“They’ve put together 710 pounds of food, and that food will help over 590 families. It’s incredible to be a part of, and we at Ringling Brothers are all about families,” said Ringmaster David Shipman.

The circus will be at the Covelli Centre on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets start at $12 for children.
