Man accused of bringing woman to Austintown for sex faces charges

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Mahoning County grand jury indicted a Niles man accused of bringing a woman to a truck driver for sex in September.

Troy Tursack, 44, is charged with promoting prostitution, aggravated possession of drugs, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous drug.

Officers said Tursack brought 32-year-old Rhonda Cummings to Plaza 76 in Austintown, who said she was waiting for a family friend named John.

Rhonda Cummings was arrested on theft charges out of Trumbull County. Tursack told police he took Cummings to the area to have sex with a truck driver for money.

Tursack allowed police to search his car, and they found straws with suspected drug residue and pills, so officers arrested him.

During an interview with police later on, Tursack admitted that he brought Cummings to Plaza 76 to meet a truck driver for sex.

Cummings was also arrested for outstanding warrants.
