WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Police are investigating after a woman said she was hit by a bullet as a group of people argued nearby.
The victim said she was walking to her home on Dunstan Drive from the Fast Fuel gas station on Parkman Road in Warren around 3 a.m. Friday.
She told officers that people gathered in a parking lot on Garden Street were “tussling” when she heard a gunshot. At that point, she ran home.
The woman didn’t realize she was bleeding from her lower stomach until she got home.
She went to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment, and is undergoing tests to make sure the bullet didn’t hit any vital organs.
