Campbell pancake breakfast benefits schools, community

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WYTV) – Over 50 people enjoyed a hot breakfast at Campbell Elementary School Saturday morning.

It was the second pancake breakfast they’ve held this year for Campbell City Schools, as sausage, pancakes, waffles and fruit were all available.

There was also a bake sale and Chinese auction. Meals were $7 for adults and $5 for kids.

Event organizers said that events like these not only benefit the schools, but the entire community.

“There’s people who come in droves,” said Jeania Herns of Ecumenical Council of Churches. “Groups of people, families — they all get together and they come here and we have our Chinese auction, we have a bake sale and everything works out great. So this is a community event toward the community.”
