Undercover drug sting in New Castle ends in arrest

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WYTV) – An undercover drug investigation in New Castle ended with an arrest and the seizure of guns, pills, heroin and cash.

Officers with the New Castle Police Department and the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Special investigative Unit made an undercover buy of heroin Monday from a man identified as Jordan Perretti outside of his residence on Lathrop Street.

This was the second buy police said they made from Perretti during their investigation.

Once the buy was complete they attempted to arrest Perretti, but he ran back into his house. Officers followed and found several items inside the house including two guns, over 400 pills, including narcotics and sedatives and over $1,700 in cash.

Perretti is facing several charges, including delivery of a controlled substance and drug possession.
