Ritter & Youngs pace South Range past Lisbon

CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – South Range jumped on top of Lisbon, 23-9, after the first quarter and cruised to a 69-36 win.

The Raiders (2-0) were led by Dan Ritter and Brandon Youngs, who each registered 18 points. Anthony Ritter and Taymer Graham (4-4 FT) added 8 apiece as well.

Next, South Range will travel to Western Reserve to take on the unbeaten Blue Devils on Friday followed by their United Way Classic matchup with Girard on Saturday.

Lisbon fell for the first time this season after winning their Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday over Sebring in overtime. Junior Branson Brownfield scored 10 (4-4 FT) and hauled down seven boards to lead the Devils. Justin Sweeney, who entered the game averaging 25.5 points, was held to eight points. Noah Barnes also had three field goals to score six.

The Blue Devils (2-1) return to action this Friday when they meet the Bulldogs in East Palestine.
