CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – Canfield High School students made a big donation to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree tag program.
They bought gifts for 325 kids.
The school shared some pictures of the Salvation Army picking up all the gifts Wednesday morning. At one point, it looked like they might need a second truck to collect all of the gifts.
Canfield High School senior Sydney Stewart said it was all for a good cause.
“A lot of us in school wake up Christmas morning and get all these gifts and things like that, but the reality of the situation is there’s kids that wake up Christmas morning to not very much, if not any gifts at all, so it’s nice to know that those 325 kids will be waking up to something on Christmas morning,” Stewart said.
