Animals killed in New Vernon Township barn fire

Mercer Dispatch says firefighters were called out to a fire at 36 Condit Rd. around 12:50 a.m. Friday

NEW VERNON TWP., Pa. (WYTV)  – A barn fire overnight in Vernon Township killed several livestock.

Mercer Dispatch says firefighters were called out to a fire at 36 Condit Rd. around 12:50 a.m. Friday.  Crews from multiple fire departments were called out to assist.

While some of the animals died, no humans were injured. Firefighters managed to rescue some of the animals from the barn.
