McDonald, OH (WYTV) – Freshman Zach Rasile hit a school record 11 three pointers, and McDonald routed Columbiana, 123-45 Friday at McDonald High School.
The 123 points are also a school record, according to school sources. The Blue Devils built a big lead early and never looked back. Rasile hit 7 three pointers in the first half and McDonald led,
Through 2 varsity games, Rasile, the coaches son, has hit 19 three pointers. He tied the school record with 8 threes last game and broke it tonight with 11 from behind the arc.
The Blue Devils had 6 players score in double figures. Rasile finished with 33 points, while Joe Raggazzine scored 30. Braedon Poole had 16 points, while Josh Celli added 13. Dylan Portolese and Caleb Emerson chipped in 11 apiece. Zach Chaffee led Columbiana with 20 points.
McDonald improves to 2-0 on the season and host Southern Local next Tuesday at 7 PM.
