Speed limit restrictions lifted on some Pa. interstates

Oil City, PA – PennDOT has lifted the speed limit restrictions that were in place on some interstate highways in the northwestern region.

Due to the winter storm impacting the region, speed limits were reduced to 45 mph on Interstate 90 and Interstate 79 in the region. All speeds are now restored to their usual posted limits.

PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
